Terms of Service

The basics of working together — what you buy, what I deliver, and what each of us needs from the other.

What this site is

isthatdavontaye is the independent creative studio of Davontaye. You can browse the portfolio, send a project enquiry, run free discovery, create an account and buy a package.

Your account

Keep your login details safe and give accurate information. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, and you can close the account whenever you like.

Packages and pricing

Starter is $149 for 1 page with $19/month hosting; Business is $349 for up to 5 pages with $29/month hosting; Premium is $699 for up to 10 pages with $49/month hosting. Website fees are one-time; hosting is billed separately after delivery. Scope and delivery date are confirmed in your signed project agreement before payment. Prices can change over time, but the price you paid at checkout is the price you are charged.

Monthly hosting

Hosting plans are monthly subscriptions that cover managed hosting, SSL and uptime monitoring after your website is delivered and live. They bill monthly until cancelled. Plan changes are reviewed by Davontaye rather than switched automatically, so the right level is confirmed with you.

30-day guarantee

If you are not happy with a package purchase within 30 days and your project has not been delivered yet, tell me and we will fix the issue or refund you.

What I need from you

Content, feedback and decisions when they are asked for, and the rights to anything you send me — text, images, logos and documents. If something you send belongs to someone else, please make sure you are allowed to use it.

Who owns what

You own the final delivered website and the content you provide. I keep the right to show my work — screenshots and case studies — and portfolio items are presented as independent projects or prototypes, never as paid client work. Private project information stays private.

Delivery and handoff

Every delivery includes a handoff guide covering your website documentation, domain instructions, recurring costs, a security checklist and maintenance guidance, kept in your workspace.

Limits

Third-party services such as hosting, domain registrars and payment processors have their own terms that also apply. I do not guarantee specific business results, and I am not responsible for outages or changes outside my control.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version appears here with a new date above.
